Sentence Structure

الطَّالِبُ يَقْرَأُ الكِتَابَ
الطَّالِبُ (the student) يَقْرَأُ (reads) الكِتَابَ (the book)
"The student reads the book"
Pattern: Subject + Verb + Object

Verb Conjugation

Root: ك-ت-ب (k-t-b) - "to write"
أَنَا (I) أَكْتُبُ (aktubu) I write
أَنْتَ (you-m) تَكْتُبُ (taktubu) You write
هُوَ (he) يَكْتُبُ (yaktubu) He writes

Definite Article

Arabic uses "ال" (al-) as the definite article
كِتَاب (kitāb) الكِتَاب (al-kitāb)
بَيْت (bayt) البَيْت (al-bayt)

Plural Forms

Sound Masculine Plural

مُعَلِّم → مُعَلِّمُونَ (teachers)

Sound Feminine Plural
